Meet the 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostat. It has new rings and a big, sharp display. And it saves energy. That’s the most beautiful part. The Nest Learning Thermostat automatically adapts as owner's lives and the seasons change. After used for a week, the Nest Thermostat programs itself.
Nest Sense - The brains behind the scenes. With Nest Sense, the Nest Thermostat learns about the house. Like how long it takes to warm up, how drafty it is, and what the weather’s like. It also learns about the customer's heating or cooling system and how to make it even more efficient. So while owners turn up the thermostat or turn it down, Nest Sense algorithms are figuring out a thousand things in the background. And redefining what a thermostat can be.
Now the Nest Thermostat does something new. It’s called Farsight, and it lights up to show residents the temperature, weather or time. Customers can even choose a digital or analog clock face. Farsight is big and bright on the beautiful display and can be seen from across the room.
The Nest Thermostat is just one part of a heating and cooling system. But it can keep an eye on the rest of it. Home owners will get an alert on their phone if there’s something wrong – like temperatures are so low that pipes could burst. And if it looks like the furnace is acting up, the Nest Thermostat will send an alert.
